The BASF OSR Establishment Risk Share Programmes

We understand that growing OSR can be challenging. From establishing the crop, with the challenges that weather, pests and weeds can bring, right through to harvest – it certainly isn’t easy. At BASF, we want to share some of the burden with you. So, we’re offering Risk Share Programmes on all InVigor hybrid seed sold in Autumn 2022.

The claims portal is now closed as of 23:59 on 31st October 2022.

Step 1

Drill your InVigor seed before 22nd September and establish your crop in the normal way.

Step 2

In the event of crop failure, where an alternative crop will be re-drilled, you needed to make a claim before the 31st October 2022.

The claims portal for the OSR Establishment Risk Share is live as of 1st September 2022.

Step 3

Verified claims will receive £30/ha.

We understand with the current challenges facing the crop, growing OSR can be stressful. However, when grown well OSR is still the most viable and profitable break crop. Although we may not have all the answers yet, we are working hard to bring solutions in order to make the crop less risky going forward. Through the collaborative research we are conducting with industry experts and other initiatives such as our risk share scheme.
