Why Pictor?

Why Pictor®?Independent evidence
Excellent Sclerotinnia control. Important where risk of extended floweringAHDB fungicide performance trials
Protectant activity against Light Leaf Spot (to protect the pod canopy)ADAS and AHDB trials
Avoids use of azoles at flowering for good LLS resistance managementFollows FRAG UK advice
Keeps leaves greener for longer to maximize seed fillADAS 'GLAD' trials provide the proof (0.25 t/ha yield increase)

Use Pictor® at 0.5kg/ha at early-mid flower

Keep Sclerotinia out – protect the flowering crop

Crops which get to flowering in 2020 will be worth protecting and keeping leaves green for as long as possible to maximize seed-fill to canopies of all sizes make the best of it. Oilseed rape is an elastic crop and can pleasantly surprise us, so it’s important not to abandon our agronomy ‘know-how’.

Choose Pictor® with confidence, endorsed by recent independent AHDB and ADAS research. The product contains two active ingredients, dimoxystrobin and boscalid. Both equally contribute to Sclerotinia control by stopping the disease before it enters the plant.

Light leaf spot resistance management

Light leaf spot spores are always present, and Pictor® provides a valuable alternative mode of action against light leaf spot, a disease where sensitivity to triazoles is reducing. The active ingredients in Pictor® protect the pod canopy and provide an alternative mode of action compared to azole chemistry used earlier in the year to control the disease (FRAG UK advice).

Yield increase in the absence of visible disease

In addition to excellent disease control, Pictor® also delivers physiological benefits to the plant. A key benefit of Pictor® is that it protects profits by increasing yield even when no disease is present, by keeping the leaves green for longer and hence maximizing the photosynthetic capacity of the plant.

Pictor® increases Green Leaf Area Duration and yield
