Urease inhibitors have been around for decades but have never really taken off in the UK.
Challenges around their shelf life and poor adhersion of the active ingredients to the granules has reduced adoption in the UK. Limus overcomes both of these problems. Limus is applied to the urea as a solvent meaning that the actives move into and bind to the granules. The solvent technology also allows use the of specialist polymers which stablise the active to give a shelf life of more than 12 months.
Limus is applied in the UK by our customers, Bartholomews, COFCO International and Thomas Bell (Diamond Fertilisers). Each company has invested in specific application equipment at their ports to ensure consistent and even application.
Is 2021 the prefect time to try Limus protected urea?
