Terms & Conditions

Current Promotions

The OSR State of the Nation Survey (the “Survey”) is promoted by BASF plc, company number: 667980, registered office: 4th and 5th floors, 2 Stockport Exchange, Railway Road, Stockport, SK1 3GG (the “Promoter”).

How to enter

  • The Survey is only open for entry by growers and agronomists whose registered office or principal place of business is in England, Scotland or Wales and have grown or advised on winter oilseed rape in the last three years.
  • To enter the Survey you must satisfy all of the following conditions:
  • The first 500 respondents who complete the Survey shall receive a £5 Amazon voucher (“Free Gift”).
  • All respondents who complete the Survey by 12th March 2021 shall be entered into a draw to win one of 5 £50 Amazon vouchers. The draw for these prizes shall take place on [ date] when winner will be chosen from the qualifying entrants by random draw supervised by an independent person. The decision of the independent draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • There is no cash alternative for the prizes.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes or free gift with an alternative prize or free gift of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary or desirable.
  • Late, incomplete or corrupt entries or entries not fulfilling all the conditions of paragraphs 1 and 2 will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of despatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

Free Gift

  • Free Gifts will be provided by email by 19th March 2021 provided that the winner has provided the Promoter with their email address information.
  • Only one Free Gift will be provided per individual.

Winner announcement

  • The Promoter will notify the winners as soon as practicable via the contact details given at registration, and in any event within 10 days of the draw.
  • The winners of the £50 Amazon vouchers will be announced on https://www.agricentre.basf.co.uk/en/ on 22nd March 2021. In entering the Survey you are consenting to the Promoter publishing your name.

Claiming the prizes

  • Each of the winners will be provided with the prize by email by 19th March.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible winner (drawn independently and at random using the same process as outlined in paragraph 4) if within 10 days of the announcement date the winner:
    • cannot be contacted via the contact details given at registration; or
    • has not confirmed acceptance of the prize in response to an email or call via the contact details given at registration

Liability

  • Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize or gift impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and you agree that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
  • The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of the Survey (except that which cannot be validly excluded by law).

Personal data

  • The participants personal information, and the personal information of the person nominated to win the prize will be used by BASF for the purpose of this Survey promotion and may be passed on to third party suppliers as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
  • Participants personal information may also be used for other purposes as defined in BASF’s privacy policy: https://basfrealresults.co.uk/privacy/

Miscellaneous

  • The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Survey where it becomes necessary to do so.
  • By submitting an entry to the Survey you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Only one entry to the Survey is allowed. The Promoter reserves the right to re-allocate prizes in the event of multiple entries.
  • No purchase is necessary for entry into the Survey.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
