Why Topkat®?

Topkat® is a residual herbicide that can be used on all varieties of winter oilseed rape and sugar beet and fodder beet.

Topkat® is taken up via cotyledons and roots and takes maximum effect before, or shortly after, weed emergence. Optimum results are obtained from applications made to fine, firm and moist seedbeds. The effects on the target weeds are the result of root inhibition and hormone-type effects.

Topkat® is suitable for use on all soil types as defined by Soil Texture (85) System, except sands and very light soils and soils containing more than 10% organic matter.

Real Results: OSR Profitability

Real Results: OSR Profitability

Growing OSR can be stressful. From establishing the crop with the challenges that weather and pests can bring, right up until harvest, with uncertainties over yield, quality and prices – it certainly isn’t easy. Yet it’s still largely recognised as the most viable and profitable break crop there is.

So we’ve teamed up with ADAS and other industry experts to help try and take some of that stress away.
