Revystar® XE is everything you need, providing excellent control of all major yield robbing wheat and barley diseases. The broad spectrum activity provided by both Revysol® and Xemium® makes Revystar a fantastic option in 2026, bringing value, robust disease control and flexibility.

Revystar® XE in Wheat

Revystar® XE is stronger where it matters across key wheat diseases. In BASF and independent trials Revystar® XE offers strong activity across the primary targeted diseases: Septoria, Brown Rust, Yellow Rust and Eyespot activity.

Revystar® XE in Barley

Revystar® XE in barley provides two key barley active ingredients. Revysol® brings great Ramularia activity, whilst Xemium® delivers strong Rhynchosporium control and has been proven to reduce brackling in barley.

Septoria

In 2025, Septoria pressure was deemed lower than we would expect to see in a typical spring season. However, across trials we continued to see a fungicidal benefit over untreated plots and Revystar® XE continued to deliver a greater yield benefit over Ascra® Xpro.

Eyespot

Trials by the University of Nottingham demonstrates the activity Revystar® XE has on eyespot compared to Ascra® Xpro and Vimoy® + Proline® offers

Benefits beyond disease control

In dry conditions it is important to try and reduce the stress of the crop, to enable it to reach its full potential. For over 15 years independent experts have been evaluating BASF active ingredients on their ability to support plant health. Xemium® in Revystar® XE has been proven in multiple studies to support plant health. Rothamsted Research have shown how Xemium® increases the roots ability to access more water at depth and ADAS has shown Xemium® to help wheat plants to better manage water, increasing the plants drought tolerance.

Across BASF and independent trials, Revystar® XE provides fantastic value. Using Revystar® XE at T1 over Ascra® Xpro resulted in an additional yield of 0.26t/ha.

"Revystar XE brings stability to fungicide programmes. It is effective in its own right, while allowing newer chemistry to be used safe in the knowledge that resistance management isn’t being compromised"
Steve Dennis, BASF Head of Business and Technical Development
